The powerful thing about this project is the solution to decentralized community management. That means no editors (apart from abuse), no censorship, no preferences based on personal philosophies at all.

There are three components:

Community members or outsiders can vote on every contribution (per-item voting), up or down. These votes get tabulated with registered users as user-ranking. Then, in order to prevent positive feedback loops from "first posts" or temporarily highest voted items, a probabilistic presententation algorithm is used to randomized the pages.
