Accessing the jupyterhub cluster

You'll need an account on https://datahub.berkeley.edu/ (or possibly another hub we'll set up). Please fill out this quick form to specify your needs.

Once you get signed up, you should be able to log in to that hub with your @berkeley.edu email address. Then the technical team or your connector assistant can help you make it available to your students.

Errors

If you try to log into the hub and run into a:

This means that you don't have access yet. Ping the technical team on the contact page.

If you run into issues or questions with any of these steps, contact the support team with your issue(s). We'll make sure you have access to the needed resources.

Getting set up on bCourses or other campus-wide systems

Your home department needs to enter you as instructor for the course and give you instructions for how they use campus-wide systems. If your connector is an L&S 88, your "home department" is the Data Science program, and you can just contact our curriculum coordinator.
