The role of release iteration plans is to give users and visitors to Bokeh's repository a high-level picture of what's expected in a given release of Bokeh. A picture that may not be apparent from the milestone associated with a release, which may contain hundreds of issues and PRs of varying level of involvement. Those plans contain a tentative task list of new features and other changes, that may altered at any point, due to changing priorities, developer availability and funding. As such, it should not be viewed as a promise to deliver any of those tasks.
