GeoNode PSC Meeting, 2020 11 05
Francesco will present GeoNode on the OpenSource Week (1. - 4.) in December (https://opensourceweek.it/?aff=Geobeyond). The presentation can be in English or Italian. The PSC does not decide if an English presentation is needed.
The testing for version 3.1 will start next week. Alessio will prepare the google sheet for it. Anticipated release is the end of November or after the summit2020.
- Florian will work on the draft PR (https://github.com/GeoNode/geonode/pull/6565) on translations and take a look at the Mapstore2 translations
- Alessio will test and work on the blocker https://github.com/GeoNode/geonode/issues/5779
- Toni will check if https://github.com/GeoNode/geonode/issues/5801 is still an issue and reproduce it with appropriate environment variables.
Some issues were postponed https://github.com/GeoNode/geonode/projects/5 for a later release
The Thünen Institute will provide web conferencing room to host and will organize the summit. The summit will be held in conjunction with 3.1 release directly after the OpenSource week (7. - 9 December). On Monday afternoon presentations will be held. Tuesday and Thursday will be used for sprints. There shall be a documentation and code sprint.

FOSS4G asked Simone if the 2022 FOSS4G summit can be held in conjunction with GeoNode Summit. The PSC likes that idea and accepts the offer.
