Recipe-app

This app is made as a part of Udacity Android Developer Nanodegree program

Objective

Our task is to create an Android Baking App that will allow Udacity’s resident baker-in-chief, Miriam, to share her recipes with the world. Here we will create an app that will allow a user to select a recipe and see video-guided steps for how to complete it.

Getting Started

Clone or download the project and run it using Android Studio(>=3.x.x)

Prerequisites

Should have latest version of Android Studio(>=3.x.x) Installed on the local machine

Built with

  • Retrofit - Type-safe HTTP client for Android and Java.
  • Espresso - The Espresso test framework. Espresso is a testing framework for Android to make it easy to write reliable user interface tests
  • Parceler- Parceler is a code generation library that generates the Android Parcelable boilerplate source code.
  • Butter Knife- Bind Android views and callbacks to fields and methods.
  • ExoPlayer- An extensible media player for Android
  • Picasso- A powerful image downloading and caching library for Android
  • gson - A Java serialization/deserialization library to convert Java Objects into JSON and back
