This folder contains a jupyter notebook which goes through several modeling exercises using pfsspy and other python libraries to model the solar corona and draw magnetic field lines between points in the heliosphere and locations on the solar surface.

This notebook should run entirely with python packages accessible with pip or conda installation (i.e. no custom code). The full set of (non-built-in) packages, and the version this notebook was tested are as follows:

pfsspy 1.1.2

sunpy 4.0.5

astropy 5.1

matplotlib 3.5.2

numpy 1.21.5

astrospice 0.2.0
