Expose track.conference field in types #2518

Merged

There's a field jitsiTrack.conference that keeps a reference to the track's owning conference. It does not have a corresponding TypeScript definition. This PR adds a type definition.

  • JitsiLocalTrack.conference: null if it hasn't been added to a conference yet
  • JitsiRemoteTrack.conference: non-nullable, always associated with a conference

(We're using this in our application.)

Local and remote Jitsi tracks expose a reference to the
`JitsiConference` through `track.conference`. This was not available in
the TypeScript definitions.

Local tracks are initialized with `conference = null` but will be set
later, assuming the caller adds the track to a conference. Remote tracks
are always associated with a conference.

Hi, thanks for your contribution!
If you haven't already done so, could you please make sure you sign our CLA (https://jitsi.org/icla for individuals and https://jitsi.org/ccla for corporations)? We would unfortunately be unable to merge your patch unless we have that piece :(.

We should already have a CCLA signed for CoScreen/Datadog. Let me know if there's anything missing on our end.
