Redesign process meeting notes
Light overview of notes from calls with Design Strategy Working Group.
Notes from the call:
Brendan walked through the initial site map and showed off the proposed wireframes. He gave us some of the thinking behind how things were structured, how he responded to feedback from the DC meeting.
A big focus was walking through the Our Work section, which includes three main views/sections:
- main our work page with highlighted projects
- impact areas view with projects tagged with an impact area
- and a country view with projects tagged according to country
We also walked through the other pages: community, get involved, and tools & technology. We discussed that it may be helpful to categorize the tools so users understand where the tools fit into a mapping workflow.
We didn’t get into a significant amount of other feedback and we said we would post the wireframes and allow feedback to happen via Marvel or on Github.
After actions:
- post the site map
- post exported views of the wireframes
- create a checklist of content
- think through photos at the project level
- can we categorize the tools and technology page?
