Overview
A media player that derives it's playlist and content from various sources over the web, primarily social sharing sites. Primarilly derived from subreddits and comment threads on Reddit.com but will be expanded to pull in other sources into one viewer
HiveMind media was conceived and created by Ryan Guthrie (ryanguthrie.com). The code is shared under a Creative Commons non-commercial license meaning you are free to use and change it for non commercial use.
This project is still very early and there are a large number of wanted features to expand it. If you are interested in contributing code, design, better graphics please look at the roadplan and milestones or contact Ryan Guthrie for an idea of what is needed. Monetary contributions are also helpful. The ultimate goal is to provide a free viewing experience however development costs and running the servers cost money- the better this is, the more uses it will get and more expensive to run. Without some sort of extra paid service or donations it will only serve a limited number of users
