Use of EMODNET Biology Data for invasive species policies. What can we learn?

Data Series

• the harbour database of target species and candidate target species from the website of the ballast water decision support tool under development by HELCOM and OSPAR: http://jointbwmexemptions.org/ballast_water_RA/apex/f?p=104:12::::::.
• the EurOBIS/EMODnet Biology database using the EMODNET Biology WFS service to retrieve the recorded locations of each species.
• Taxonomic matching was done using the World Register of Marine Species (WoRMS) taxon matching tool.
