Bug Description

When you press any of the menu items (File, Edit, View, ...) the menu will shortly pop up and disappear before getting any possibility of selecting something

Expected Behaviour

Press an item in the menu bar and the context menu stays open

Steps to Reproduce

Use a touch display to select an item in the menu bar

This sadly looks like a gtk3 bug, for which we can't do anything on this end. See https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/-/issues/945 (supposedly fixed, but similar symptoms).
