Bug Description

the xournalpp app is crashing continuously in ubuntu 24.04 lts and not working properly.

moreover, it makes the entire system hang many times.

How you installed ubuntu?
I can't reproduce this on a clean wsl ubuntu24.04

i dual booted it directly on windows using live usb stick. i use the whole ubuntu os.

Question: when does it crash? On start up? When you're drawing?
We're going to need a crashlog to understand what's happening here.

While drawing mainly. It hangs a lot, and many times ubuntu crashes and goes to login screen and all apps are closed.

now when i open xournalpp, the whole computer freezes, crashes and returns to the login screen

Since the whole window manager crashes, it would be good, to know which window manager is used and what their (crash)-logs are.
