I would like to learn workman but i'm using wayland on arch linux (gnome) and i can't find find out how to actually use this on arch.
Is there a way i can use this on Wayland with no xorg installed?

Apparently Wayland uses xkb config files:

https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/425424/keyboard-layout-with-sway-on-fedora-wayland#answer-566995

So you would want to install the xorg files and configure Wayland as shown in that answer.

I don't use Wayland so I can't confirm this, but I hope it helps.

I don't think the linked answer is correct. It is specific for the window manager sway. Please reopen. I don't know how to enable it.

You can use environment variables, set XKB_DEFAULT_LAYOUT to "workman" before starting the compositor, it should work at least wlroots-based compositors, as for DEs (plasma and gnome) it should be on theirs keyboard config
