I'm currently using this library, but is it outdated? because it doesn't support MSEdge that some javascript's features aren't working I think it uses IE11

It's an interesting idea. I know there's a newer version of WebView available, but I haven't looked into it yet.

I'd be happy to accept a PR to upgrade to webview-x if it isn't that complex.

You're right, this library is a bit outdated now.
