We have a lot of requests about fetching config issue. It'll help us A LOT if you give a try to fix it on your own following the doc.
If you failed to fix it yourself, tick the following boxes:
[ X] I've tried myself without success
[X ] I've replaced HOST in the issue title with the host of the URL that can't be fetched (ie: nytimes.com, 20minutes.fr, bbc.com, etc.)
What exactly is the error? When trying to fetch wit app.wallabag.it I got an "403 Forbidden" which might due to heavy using or blacklisting the wallabag-server on 20minutos side.
With my own wallabag 2.6.9 I have no problems to catch the article, no extra site depended config-file needed.
Maybe you should consider to upgrade your old version. But BACKUP carefully including the database. Maybe you should try to install a new wallabag and migrating the data (export/import).
Good morning.
I use wallabag.it pay server, I don't have my own wallabag server on my web server.
It is impossible for me to install on my Android phone or Windows laptop a wallabag app with that version.
I have the versions offered by Play Store and the client that can be installed on Windows 10 and I have no other possibility, I have already looked at the wallabag.org and wallabag.it pages, as well as checking the wallabag version of F-Droid.
I just can't install that version.
Thanks for the help.
@JulkGithub, which browser are you using on your laptop? The 'wallabagger' extension/plugin (not wallabag) for Edge is unfortunately too old. But if you may consider to install Firefox instead, maybe as a portable version, you can install the current Wallabagger. Also available for Google Chrome.
In the settings of wallabagger you can activate 'Content fetching from the browser', so the pre-fetched content will be sent to wallabag.it instead of just the URL.
