ID in header

Hi, may I ask a basic question about the header of contigs:
For example: k119_20 flag=0 multi=10.0000 len=1000: k119_20 means that this contig is the 20th contig that were generated with k119, right? And if only keeping the part (k119_20) before the first space for all headers within final.contigs.fa, all contigs are still having the unique name no matter of the "flag, mutli and len", right?
