Broken pipe refresh

Hello team,
I have updated my lnav to 0.11.2 and since I have issue when piping logs to it.
The lines are not correctly refreshed. Instead of having a smooth scrolling as the lines arrive, only the part of the screen where the new lines are is refreshed. It's like the new lines are put in the screen and anything around it stays unchanged.
When I navigate the logs it works correctly. When I open a file everything is fine too.

I have absolutely no idea on how to tackle this issue...
If anyone can help it would be really appreciated 🙏

Are you using the brew build on macos? There seems to be a bug in that build that causes the screen to not update properly. Although, I think some people have reported a similar issue on linux.

Try a build from the releases page:

Yes I am using a brew build. I am on a Mac M1 chip so I don't think I can install the x86_64 versions from the release or the nightly.
May be I should look into downgrading then.

The x86_64 binary will work on the M1/M2, macos has an emulator.

Thank you @tstack, the tag works much better.
I'm not sure how the brew formulas work but my guess is that lnav is built from source. Do you think I should notify the homebrew team to update the formula?
