Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
no bug, feature request: save a setting when "iot"-is-offline -> show what you planned to do....
Describe the solution you'd like
Currently the openDTU UI displays for each inverter the "actual limit". ✔️
If you store a new limit in openDTU UI then you'll get the (UI) feedback when the inverter sends back the "actual limit". ✔️
The feedback of "current limit" will (/can) be delayed if you set a absolute limit [abs] ✔️
Afaik it is ok to set the limit (rel/abs and temp/perm) while the inverter is offline because of e.g. night/disconnect etc.
Once the inverter<->openDTU communication starts, the limit is transferred and the feedback is retrieved. ✔️
I suggest to show on the UI screeen "inverter details" the last saved/requested/planned limit as e.g. "planned limit"etc.
Mockup:
MVP (Minimum Valuable Product)
is the feedback from openDTU for a planned setting -> it does'nt matter if you e.g. request a wattage limit and get the feedback in %
Describe alternatives you've considered
the "planned limit" could be shown before actual or at any other postition but somewhere on details screen.
Additional context
use case example / user story:
the inverter is disconnected from solar power source (night or disconnected from solar panels)
you set (=request/configure) a limit to the inverter via openDTU
another person take a look into that inverter via openDTU
Expectation is to see at the openDTU UI the last saved "planned limit"
