I created a small PCB for a remote OLED power monitor using ESPHome. I included a small SR602 PIR sensor and implemented a display timeout in ESPHome. It would be really nice to have the option for a similar solution directly in the OpenDTU device. When the display is switched off after a timeout in software, it would even be possible to control the power supply to the display and switch the display off completely via a GPIO pin. This would, for example, allow to totally switch off ST7567S LCD displays (including the backlight) via a MOSFET.
