Wanted to ask for any additional tips to be added to audio.md for the case where the built-in microphone is not detected.

These tips helped fix the missing built-in speakers issue for me. Are there comparable steps for the microphone that are worth trying?

Running Pop!_OS 20.04 on a Dell XPS 9310.

Generally it might be that the kernel does not have support for your hardware.
