Expert installation stop at the "Network detection" #119

Using USB key or DVD, same issue:

  • booting from device
  • select "expert installation"
  • Select French, next next next...
  • "Network detection" : mouse can move freely but no progress bar and nothing happend for... long time.

Hardware: ASUS ROG G20CB-FR009T (NVidia GTX980 / Core i7 6700 / 8gB)

Sorry for the extremely late reaction. I am unable to find the G20CB-FR009T anywhere on the ASUS website. Do you know what Network card it has? Did you have it connected wired?

Seems to be a France-specific desktop PC
