Problems in stargate pod startup

I deployed stargate using the k8ssandra-operator.
But the stargate is not starting up due to issues starting up with the problem of starting the auth server:

Does someone knows the reason for this issue ?

Well the problem is that port 8081 is already taken on the pod, but I have no idea why.. I think it would be best to ask directly on the https://github.com/k8ssandra/k8ssandra-operator..

Or maybe @adejanovski or @olim7t know the answer out-of-the-box?

@andreasgeisslerdt, you should try removing the networking part of your manifest which enables host networking.
This should only be used in specific cases (testing multicluster in kind for example) and will have your pods use the host IP address instead of a different one. That can lead to conflicts around ports.

Indeed I see in the stargate deployment the setting:
hostNetwork: true
and in the pod:

I will have to see, how I can disable the hostNetwork setting in the k8ssandraCluster settings.

Sure, just remove this block from your manifest:
