Can confirm this behavior. Swipe and bottom bar snap to mouse and get dragged around after clicking an of the buttons once.

Same for me on Manjaro.

So we can safely say this bug happens on Ubuntu-based distros and Arch-based distros. We do really need a fix, as I really need to use my phone on my Linux PC now.

I can add: The AppImage from the AUR does NOT emit this problem. But I don't get any video output/screen at all (only the normal GUI but no scrcpy screen).

I tried the following versions:

  • guiscrcpy (1:2023.1.1-1) - Has the above mentioned panel move problem
  • guiscrcpy-git (2023.1.1-4) - Also has the above mentioned panel move problem
  • guiscrcpy-appimage (1:2023.1.1.r3.g2663e2d-1) - Does NOT have the problem, though does not open any window for video output (though that might be some appimage thing).
