About HyperLearning AI

HyperLearning AI is a data science and technology innovation company founded by computational mathematician Jillur Quddus in September 2020 in the United Kingdom.

Our Mission
Our mission at HyperLearning AI is to design and build innovative human-centered and insight-led digital solutions that can be applied to real-world problems and deliver positive social impact.

Our Vision
Our vision is to make data an enabler for positive economic, environmental and social change.

Case Studies

Examples of the work that we have done to deliver positive social impact include:

  • Joint Biosecurity Centre (JBC) - the Joint Biosecurity Centre (part of the UK Health Security Agency) was established in 2020 to support the UK’s Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE) and to inform national policy in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, and to ultimately protect the public. We worked with the JBC to mathematically and computationally simulate the transmission of COVID-19 and predict the impact of non-pharmaceutical interventions such as local lockdown events. We led a team (that included mathematicians from the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN), AI researchers from The Alan Turing Institute, leading epidemiologists from academia, genomic sequencing SMEs, and professionals from Google, Microsoft, AWS, the NHS and the Office for National Statistics) whose responsibility was to rapidly develop bleeding-edge real-time disease models, the actionable insights from which were directly consumed by members of SAGE, the Cabinet Office and the Secretary of State for Health.

Open Source Projects

One of our core values is that we are community-driven, and we are passionate about giving back to the community - both the open source digital community and also disadvantaged groups. We deliver bespoke and in-depth training courses in software engineering and data science to local disadvantaged groups (such as care leavers, long-term unemployed and single parents) for free. We also fund, develop and manage open source software projects which align with our vision of making data an enabler for positive economic, environmental and social change, including:

  • OntoPop - an open source software project that enables users and organisations to visualise, explore and semantically query their knowledge assets, data and relationships for free using ontologies.

  • Public Opportunities Bot (POB) - an open source and easily extensible software project that fully-automates the collation, analysis and notification of procurement opportunities from public sector procurement frameworks in order to support business development for the benefit of all professionals and organisations regardless of their size.

  • Introduction to Python - an introductory course to the Python 3 programming language, with a curriculum aligned to the OpenEDG Certified Associate in Python Programming (PCAP) examination syllabus.

Your Sponsorship

Your sponsorship will enable us to continue to fund, manage and develop our open source software projects, and in particular the OntoPop project. Our vision is for OntoPop to become an industry-standard tool that enables individuals and organisations to visualise, explore and query knowledge. In turn, the goal is to make open data more visible and accessible to anyone around the world, where OntoPop can be used to identify what data exists in a particular domain (such as climate change or healthcare), and how it can be linked together in order to support and inform insight-led and evidence-based decision and policy making.

Your sponsorship will enable us to continue to fund, manage and develop the OntoPop open source project. Our vision is for OntoPop to become an industry-standard tool that enables individuals and organisations to **visualise, explore and query knowledge**. In turn, the goal is to make open data more visible and accessible to anyone around the world, where OntoPop can be used to identify what data exists in a particular domain (such as climate change or healthcare), and how that data can be linked together in order to support and inform insight-led and evidence-based decision and policy making.
