My most well known software is GIMP 🎨🖼️, for which I am the main developer and maintainer.

I actively maintain a few other software, such as uchardet, a library for encoding and language detection ⓐ㉼, and crossroad, a developer tool to set up cross-compilation environments. And I keep a low maintenance on some other projects.

None of these are hosted primarily on Github but I am being told it should not matter for Github Sponsor. And of course, I regularly contributes patches here and there to other Free Software (on Github or anywhere else) and have done so for many many years now.

Your sponsorship will go through a non-profit organization registered in France which funds our animation film project "ZeMarmot". And in turn, it funds me through salaries to develop Free Software for a living. This is why it is extremely important, whether or not you care about our animation film. For years now, my work on GIMP has been partially funded through professional graphics work, together with an artist using the program day after day. This artist (Aryeom, film director extraordinaire) is also an excellent designer and contribute enormously to GIMP by designing new features or re-designing and improving existing features. A major part of my work has been done thanks to her input to make the software more professional.
