unindent and indent for blocks of text

I used python and is like any programming language the good part is this feature:

• indent blocks of text
• unindent blocks of text
  I suppose this issue is not very hard to be implemented by the team.

I'm not a member of the team, but I indent and unindent blocks of text all the time in Programmer's Notepad. Just highlight the lines and press tab or shift-tab.

Or are you asking for automatic indentation of lines in a language-specific manner?
