Can my self-hosted text generative AI ask things to searx, does searx have an API ?

Hello,

I have not yet installed searx on my homeserver and I also have not installed an LLM.

But I was wondering, will they be able to talk ?

Is there an API that I could connect with a self-hosted LLM and use it as a search assitant ?

Like, I would ask it about a topic, then it would make a few thousand searches, then read all the pages of all the results, try to answer my query by quoting for the direct sources, with links and page numbers and return result ranked in a way it thinks it most relevant to my search query.

Is this dream possible to implement in the current state of searx ?

I understand I will probably have to make a small python script that the LLM will call and receive content from and that script will make API calls to my self-hosted searx and output the result in an LLM intelligble format.
