This serves as a meta-issue to track importing various parts of pydata-sphinx-theme.

With regard to the "Kitchen Sink" idea, it seems like we have some overlap between these three pages:

It's unclear to me what the "Kitchen Sink" should be, how it should differ from those, etc. It seems like they could be condensed into a single page showing all the features in a "gallery" or "catalog."

If we're modeling the SPHT "kitchen sink" on the PDST one, then on the PDST kitchen sink page, there seem to be some slightly conflicting or vague ideas as well:

  • This section exists as a dump of all the things that Sphinx has. ... This also means that it is a complete showcase of everything that vanilla Sphinx provides and includes all sorts of edge cases.
  • It has exactly one goal: to be a good checklist of things to stylise within Sphinx.

Or maybe I just misunderstand. :) Anyway, please let me know what next steps you'd like me to take in this regard. Thanks.
