Well, this is not a question.
A github bot "auto-resolves" issues, which is a practice I hate and is not appropriate for this project.
But maintainers (@danbri) are swamped with requests so that artificially decreases work-load...

The bot configuration is here: https://github.com/schemaorg/schemaorg/blob/main/.github/workflows/stale.yml 90 days of no interactions earns an issue a nudge, and 1000 days (over 3 years!) a close. But they can always be reopened. The purpose of this isn't so much to automatically shut down discussion, but to pop things back into people's github and email workflows so they don't get forgotten, and to check in with original posters who may have changed their views or priorities
