Please clear up my confusion about the use of Catch2 by the RDKit

When I use cmake for RDKit, I get the following message:

  By not providing "FindCatch2.cmake" in CMAKE_MODULE_PATH this project has
  asked CMake to find a package configuration file provided by "Catch2", but
  CMake did not find one.

  Could not find a package configuration file provided by "Catch2" (requested
  version 3) with any of the following names:

    Catch2Config.cmake
    catch2-config.cmake

  Add the installation prefix of "Catch2" to CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH or set
  "Catch2_DIR" to a directory containing one of the above files.  If "Catch2"
  provides a separate development package or SDK, be sure it has been
  installed.

And then the build seems to stall (edit: I now think that it's doing a very slow checkout of Catch2).

So I have installed Catch2 3.5.2 into the same directory as I use for CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX when installing the RDKit ($install_top_dir), and specified -DCatch2_DIR=$install_top_dir on the command line. The mesage didn't go away.

I am confused because Catch2Config.cmake and catch2-config.cmake are not part of Catch2 and are not installed by it.

What am I doing wrong?

The answer was to compile Catch2 with CMake and make, not meson and ninja. That method installs the cmake file and RDKit is happy.
