Installing rdkit using Conda on Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS #6769

I solved the issue. A previous post on some other issue involving PostgreSQL and rdkit helped, but it is not entirely related to my issue. So, I didn't delete this and leave the decision to the moderators. What solved my issue is to set the conda channel_priority to flexible using conda config --set channel_priority flexible. Hope this helps. |

Hey all,
I can't succeed installing rdkit and python at the same time in the same conda env using conda install -c conda-forge . I get a long list of conflicts and conda can't solve those. pip install works, but I don't want the conflicts to impact my project in later stages. Did anyone else report an issue with conda installation on Ubuntu? What do you suggest?
Thanks!
