Cannot open file that is need for running executable from python script

I am new here, so sorry in advance if the question if it's too basic. but I have this simple code:_

bundle_dir = path.abspath(path.dirname(__file__))
os.chdir(bundle_dir)
path_to_dat = path.join(bundle_dir, 'zbud.csv')

budget_df = pd.read_csv(path_to_dat)/86.4

budget_df['BASE_FLOW'] = budget_df['DRN-OUT'].abs() + budget_df['RIV-OUT'].abs() - budget_df['RIV-IN'].abs()

I need to read this zbud.csv file (following the reccomendations in the docs. And I used the command:

pyinstaller --onefile base_flow.py

however, when I run the created executable, I get:

Get rid of the os.chdir(bundle_dir) – you never switch working directories just to locate a file. Then scroll down in that docs page to the bit with the --add-data flags in it and read that. I suggest you turn off onefile mode temporarily until you've figured it out since it's a lot easier to debug FileNotFoundError if the file isn't hidden inside an executable.
