Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Once #685 is merged, tox.ini is the only remaining non-pyproject.toml configuration file.

Give an example use case.

Describe the solution you'd like.

  • copy the content of tox.ini in the tool.tox.legacy_tox_ini (see tox docs for more information)
  • migrate to TOML configuration once tox properly supports pyproject.toml
