As title says, I booted from GDM and the cursor from GDM just stayed in the same spot and didn't disappear. Don't know why or how to get rid of it.

Sounds like an issue with cursor planes. What type of GPU does your system use? Or were you perhaps running in a virtual machine?

I'm running an NVIDIA GPU with the latest nouveau drivers from Mesa 24.0.4

Oh fun, that is something we haven't tested very well, given that nouveau wasn't very usable until very recently. Thanks for bringing that to our attention, I will try to reproduce this bug.

I can reproduce with my RTX 4080 machine. I thought I was using the main proprietary nvidia drivers, but this bug might have clued me in to that being wrong lol
