Blank screen when switching workspaces through touchpad geasture

When switching workspaces from right to left through touchpad gesture, there is a blank screen. It comes back to the normal screen when tapping on the desktop again. It does not happen when scrolling from left to right.

I noticed this too, interestingly it only happens with Wayland windows. XWayland windows do show up correctly (it seems?) after switching workspaces.

I also noticed that switching workspaces using a keyboard shortcut also gives a blank screen for probably a single frame, and then all the windows show up after that.

I can create a screen capture if necessary.

Ah you're right, it only happens when switching to lower numbered workspaces (I happened to have XWayland windows in higher numbered workspaces). Interesting :).
