Quick search bar

A feature which I really miss from LastPass is a "Quick Search" bar.

It's a Spotlight-like window which you can open using a shortcut, and search for whatever login you need. The topmost item is selected by default, but you can select others using the arrow keys. I forget what Enter did, but I'd copy passwords with Cmd/Ctrl+C and usernames with Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+C

Padloc does allow "Quick Search" via Ctrl + F. Have you tried that?

Selecting/highlighting the first item automatically and then using arrow keys to navigate is a great idea - so is using shortcuts to copy fields.

I'm aware of the normal search, but that's quite different. In normal search, it might be unexpected behavior to override up/down/enter.

An overlay bar can be brought up from anywhere with a shortcut, quickly lets you perform an action, can show suggestions when it's empty, and hides itself immediately when you perform an action.
