Hey there, maybe some expression language variables can help you, like GITHUB_WORKSPACE, which points to the checkout directory where github actions is running in. Example:

I was recently trying to setup a very simple github actions file for my github repository and landed on a static.yml file for the same!
Now do look at the with:-->path:'.' section-->Currently it uploads current or all of the repository.
But as soon as I change it to '/' which also points to the root folder and should upload everything
--the workflow runs for an infinte loop and the page is never deployed!
--A reference to what my root folder looks like
Also using . leads me to use relative path(../(in previous directory)) for correct working of images, which could be a little confusing to debug sometimes!
I know I am missing a ton here, and if someone could redirect me to the documentation or paths where I could learn about the same would be greatly appreciated!
