PointTracker updates/improvements

The version of pointTracker used by Opentrack (1.1) is from 2013 and as far as I can tell there have been zero updates to it since then. Is it a closed project or is there a possibility of updates in future? For a long time I have seen potential for improvement in several areas (e.g. better sanitising of input/error handling, support for setups with more than 3 points), but if pointTracker is never going to be updated then the only way we will see these features is with a new tracker plugin.

The pose estimation code hasn't been updated since 2012. There were improvements to other parts of tracker/pt almost every year.

I don't see any reason why the code would have to be set in stone.

Just be aware that tracker/wii depends on tracker/pt-base.
