Checking determination of header information for referenced files

Some files are usually accessible by the protocol “HTTPS” also for desirable software installations.
It can happen that selected targets can not be reached somehow.
💭 I imagine that it would become helpful then to reproduce unexpected software behaviour and avoid content access attempts for referenced files by using header information instead like it is supported by the parameter “--head” for the program “curl”.
