User can not select cashier profile in Point of Sale

Issue
In the point of sale module, users are expected to be able to sign in as their cashier profile. Currently, this is broken within core Odoo.

What are the steps to reproduce your issue?

1. Enable 'Multi Employees per Session' in a Point of Sale station
2. Add users to 'Basic' and 'Advanced' rights
3. Open the POS session
4. Attempt to sign in by pressing 'Select Cashier' or scanning the barcode associated with the employee

What is the current behavior that you observe?

• The cashier can't sign in via either method, making it impossible to access the point of sale.

What would be your expected behavior in this case?

• The user needs to be able to sign in under their cashier profile.
