Since there is no global CI option available, it would be possible to introduce a CI for ModelDBRepository as follows:

  • create a driver-CI repository that contains a reusable workflow
  • add CIs for all ModelDBRepository NEURON models that use the driver-CI reusable workflow (with @master)
    • all PR testing can then be driven by updates to driver-CI@master
      We could, for example, test last two major NEURON releases + nightly
