I contacted the author with some questions and access to v4 if available. Never got a reply perhaps my email landed in the junk file. :(

Hi guys sorry for the delay, I have been busy writing up my thesis and research projects. I am still in the middle of building v4. I will update release when it comes. But probably not sooner than 1-2 months

I would like to know as well. And what happened to the 4.0 beta program? I sent an email quite some time ago.
Mr. Bain never even bothered to give a courtesy reply.

For this package to stay relevant we need to move forward otherwise people start to look elsewhere.

And please Mr Bain, could you not close this thread "as completed"? It is obviously not completed.

Pyannote 3 is now default model, you can try see if this improves...

Has the return_embeddings info (it is an additional return parameter) been made available? This way we can prepare the closest 'cosine' match by looking up a given voiceprint database..

I see in 78dcfaa references to v4 were removed from the README. Is V4 totally scrapped?
