Understanding Pseudo Jaffe parameters #529

I started this discussion on Slack but have moved it here because I wanted to be more clear with my problem. I have been trying to use the Pseudo Jaffe profile in modelling and was having some trouble with the parameters. When trying to convert from a perturber mass (let's say 10^8 solar masses) to a sigma_0 by using the relation given in the mass_tot() function, When I tried to actually fit it, it converged to a sigma0 value of 114.4, (and 'Ra': 0.00217, 'Rs': 0.00389) which gives a total mass of the perturber in the arc by the same relation as 0.00609. I wanted to clear up any misunderstanding from my side with this post, please do let me know if you need any more info! Thanks again. |

Ahhh I missed the fact that sigma0 is taken as the input and not Sigma0. I think this should fix the issue, thanks! |
