PSF convolution on existing image #470
-
Hi, I need to perform a PSF convolution on an existing Lenstronomy image. Is that possible to do in Lenstronomy or does it have to be done when you call ImageModel.image()? |

Hi @tylerjhughes, thanks for posting.
Since lenstronomy supports different modes of convolutions (Gaussian, PIXEL, sub-pixel level, masked, adaptive etc) there is not a single interface at a lower level to convolve a 2d image (or at least there is currently no interface with it).
If you have a pixelated PSF kernel, you can use this routine here when making an instance of the PixelKernelConvolution() class
