As of this writing the app is getting to be to big, too difficult to maintain

Goal:

  • all modules have a life of their own
  • Modules learn how to work independently of each other / dependent but not overly dependent

Split gbXML Viewer into multiple experiments

  • gbXML basic: core
  • gbXML Fixer: ease the transef between CAD and analysis apps
  • gbXML Avatar: fly through the model using your cursor keys
  • gbXML Analemma: Show Sun shade and shadows
  • gbXML Shadow Daily: Show the shadows during the day
  • gbXML Shadow seasonal: crate Sun Shadow range
  • gbXML ScreenCap: obtain an animated GIF
  • gbXML Prettify: add text titles. cut sections. explode
  • gbXML Export: save as RAD. OBJ or other file type
  • gbXML ??: WWhat do you need?

If a functions returns something it's a 'get'

If a function just alter variables it's a 'set'

How to use getters and setters

  • We get to get information. This type of method always returns a value.
  • We use set to set values. This type of method usually does not return values, just change variables.
