IMPORTANT — Because it will no longer be receiving official security updates from upstream Debian 10 packages will no longer be provided for releases after 2022-07-06. Debian 10 users should consider upgrading to the new stable release as soon as possible.

NOTE — This release is the first to include our experimental Windows package. If you encounter any problems with it please file an issue.

IMPORTANT — Because they have been declared as EOL by upstream Debian 10 packages will no longer be provided for releases after 2022-07-06 and CentOS 8 packages will be replaced with binary-compatible Rocky Linux 8 packages during the next release. Debian 10 users should consider upgrading to the new stable release as soon as possible and CentOS 8 users should consider migrating to another Enterprise Linux distribution such as Rocky Linux 8 as soon as possible.

IMPORTANT — The system-wide data directory changed in v3.9.0 from /var/inspircd to /var/lib/inspircd. The installer for our binary packages will attempt to migrate this but you may need to do it manually if files already exist in the new directory.
