It should be easier to connect with people around you: people on your block, people in your immediate area, people in your neighborhood.
These connections shouldn't be delineated by formal neighborhood boundaries, but by the self-identity of the people involved, and respecting the continuity of our cities. Instead, we should let people discuss topics and get updates based on many different scales.
