Currently, LED behavior for things like RSSI, battery, etc are color coded. GPS flashes the LEDs based on number of satellites.
Desired Behavior
Use a "bar graph" style to indicate health or signal strength.
Suggested Solution
It's kind of like the Larson scanner, but the bulbs "fill up" as the signal is stronger. For instance, if user selects bulbs 9 thru 13 as the battery indicator, then only bulb 9 is illuminated when voltage is near the minimum value, and 9 thru 13 are all illuminated when battery is full. Same thing with RSSI and GPS. Give the user a field to enter min/max values, and option to turn off the flashing GPS indicator. Also, give option to reverse the pattern (example: only Bulb 13 illuminated when voltage low, and then increasing voltage illuminates bulbs 12 thru 9)
Who does this impact? Who is this for?
FPV pilots who have indicator LEDs on the cockpit panel. It much easier to determine the level with a bar graph than with color interpretation because not all camera feeds display the colors correctly.
