https://learnosm.org/en/mobile-mapping/ starts from "In choosing a mapping application for mapping in OpenStreetMap, you need to consider the following features." and similar.

Maybe better it would be to provide actionable thing like "if you have Android install Vespucci and StreetComplete and see their tutorial here(link), if you have an Apple device, see GoMap!! tutorial here(link)".
