As part of Outreachy work between May-August 2019 @katia-utochkina will be working on improving the user experience on our website. This includes design improvements to

  • Country page
  • Project page
  • Tools & Data page

We will look at enhancements in line with the following aspects:

  • Do we cater enough to all kinds of audience?
  • Communicate impact
  • Does the existing information on website communicate all details that you would like to know about?
  • What more details would you like to see?
  • What are some of the key elements that you consider important and should be available on website pages?
  • Ease of navigation
  • Call to Action
  • Mobile friendliness
  • Optimising page load time
  • Ease of content creation

Hello @ramyaragupathy ,
I am Siddharth and am a UI/UX designer. I wanted to know whether the UI/UX issues are specifically for @katia-utochkina or can others contribute as well? I understand it's a part of outreachy and is meant for girls(just for the experience) but I would love to contribute to this. Is there any way?

hey @SiddharthSimharaju - I've made a few tickets with the design label for country pages. Please feel free to add in your inputs there.
